Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the service.

You register using your email address and are responsible for the activity on your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Payments are arranged directly between guest and host

Maswa does not process payments in the app during the current period. Prices are shown for information only. When a reservation is confirmed, the guest and host arrange and settle payment directly between themselves.

Maswa does not collect, hold, transfer or refund any funds for these reservations, charges no platform fee during this period, and accepts no responsibility or liability for any payment, deposit, refund or dispute arising from a payment made directly between a guest and a host. Any such matter is solely between the guest and the host.

Bookings, hosts and guests

Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the condition and legality of their properties, and honouring confirmed reservations.

Guests are responsible for providing accurate booking details, respecting house rules, and communicating in good faith with hosts.

Cancellations and any applicable conditions are shown at the time of booking and captured in the reservation record.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unlawful purposes, to harass others, to post false or infringing content, to circumvent security, or to misuse the messaging feature.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.

Content and communications

You retain rights to content you submit (such as photos and messages) and grant us a licence to host and display it as needed to operate the service.

Guest–host chat is provided to help arrange stays; keep communications lawful and respectful.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Because Maswa is only an intermediary and is not a party to rental or payment arrangements between users, we are not responsible for the acts, omissions, properties, conduct, or payments of guests or hosts.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Iraq. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq unless otherwise required by law.
